FAQs

What age group are your materials suitable for?

Our materials are designed for preschool and early primary-aged children, typically between 4 and 8 years old. They are perfect for kids just starting to learn German or growing up in a bilingual environment.

Do I need any special tools or supplies to use the materials?

Our materials are designed to be simple and accessible! You can print them at home with your own printer or take the files to a local print shop if you prefer professional-quality prints. To make the materials more durable, you can laminate them or print on sturdy cardstock. After printing, just cut out the pieces, and you’re ready to go!

How do I introduce these materials to my child/classroom?

Start with a short activity that sparks curiosity, like a matching game or flashcards, or show the poster and talk about the pictures. Gradually introduce new activities based on your child’s or students’ interests and progress. Rotate the activities or present them little by little to keep things fresh and engaging. You can focus on one topic for 2–4 weeks, depending on the child’s interest and the time spent on the activities. For an even richer experience, combine the materials with relevant books to deepen learning and make connections!

Are there instructions included with the activities?

Yes, each activity currently comes with simple instructions in German to help you get started. In the future, we plan to include more extensive guides in English, complete with additional tips and ideas for using the materials effectively, so stay tuned!

What should I do if I have trouble downloading the files?

If you encounter any issues downloading the files, first check your internet connection and ensure there’s enough space on your device. If the problem persists, try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache. Still having trouble? Don’t hesitate to contact us through our email, and we’ll be happy to help you resolve the issue!

What’s the best way to store and organize the materials?

To keep your materials organized and ready to use, consider these tips:

  • For printed materials: Laminate the pieces for durability and store them in labeled zip-top bags or small containers. You can also use a binder with clear plastic sleeves to keep activity sets together.

  • For digital files: Create a folder on your computer or cloud storage labeled by topic or bundle. This way, you can quickly find and reprint materials whenever needed.

  • For classroom use: Use a filing system or dedicated storage boxes to separate materials by theme, making it easy to rotate activities throughout the year.
